The only thing better than growing the Flowers is sharing the Flowers!

Flowers have had such a positive impact on my mental health, why would I keep them all for myself? I started really looking into it and was amazed at their effects.

Come see for yourself….

  • Sight

Studies suggest that looking at flowers can improve well-being and reduce stress. For example, one study found that participants who meditated on red or yellow flowers for three minutes felt immediate positive effects. Yellow flowers were particularly effective at improving feelings of relaxation- those are the butterflies favorites too.

  • Smell

The smell of certain plants can also have an impact on mental health. For example, one study found that participants who spent time in a room with rosemary had better "future memory" than those in a room without a specific scent. We are growing cinnamon basil, wait till you smell it!

  • Chemicals

Flowers can stimulate the brain to release chemicals like dopamine, oxytocin, and serotonin, which are often referred to as "happy" chemicals grown chemical free!

  • Gardening

Gardening can also have mental health benefits, including reduced stress and anxiety, improved mood, and increased cognitive function. We will be trading bouquets for weeding all season!

Our U-Pick Flower Field is full sun, it is recommended to bring a water bottle, sunscreen, sun hat and probably mosquito spray.
